A bit of oriental taste!

This big tapestry was finished today by one of my students. Great job done around those curvy lines although we often find it very difficult to saw.

The assembly of the fabrics has a good Japanese taste too.

I am very happy to see one of my students' work today. She has been working on Ikeko tapestry with different colour scheme. Isn't that great!?


She has been using Liberty Tana lawn fabrics and Kaffe Fassetts and Ikeko Tapestry patterns and kits are available here!!

Mariko's Patchwork Class in Kumamoto Japan: What we made today

Mariko's Patchwork class in Japan: We will introduce what Mariko's teaching in her daily classes in Kumamoto Japan.


Today we made some new designed Macaroon cases with some laces attached to them. Attaching a little tassel making it look more elegant!
